Hey People! On with the information!
Well, I never really planned this all out all that well...eheh. On this page, I will continue with the various character descriptions: first wrapping up the first Descriptions page and then moving onto the movie villians and even the Cats if i get the time.
NOTE I had had HAD to change the Promise of a Rose description. It completely suxed. It's 4:46am and I just got done watching a sailor moon movie marathon about a hour ago. I have seen the original japanese Promise of a Rose...subtitled. BUT THAT'S OK! now i can give two perspectives of the movie and fix this page! (('bout time!))

THE END OF THE VILLIANY (is that a word?)
SAILOR STARS VILLIANS (SAILOR MOON STARS):
SAILOR GALAXIA ~ (Note: this section will change the most because of my limited stars access) Galaxia was one of those scouts who aren't really scouts and came from another solar system...it's all a mess. Well anyway, she captured like 80% of the universe and wants to capture the rest (so GREEDY!) continuing with Earth (is it me, or do we seem to get lots of alien visitors or something?). She is also known as the Golden Scout ('cause her outfit) and is looking for the star seeds, inside the hearts of humans. I don't quite know why, it probably gives a power boost or something to something. She isn't all THAT bad once you relize she is possessed by the evil enity known as Chaos. This is the reason why you see two versions of her: her usual lovely self and th bad girl flavor. Anyway, e-mail me with information if you know more than me about this.
SAILOR IRON MOUSE ~ (almost all the scouts under Galaxia are named after a metal) She was the first to work under Galaxia. She attempts repeatedly to steal the star seed of sailor moon. However, evil villian bosses have little pacience for failure so she was killed when Galaxia took her bracelets (the supplement for star seeds ~ Galaxia takes the seeds of her minions or something similar to Nehelina who took the dream mirrors of most of her lackeys). I REALLY need to reread the comics...
SAILOR ALUMINUM SIREN ~ the next Sailor Animate (they aren't scouts after all) after Iron Mouse. Tries to take the star seed of Sailor Moon, failes when Chibi-Chibi stops her (Chibi-Chibi stuff coming soon! Stop asking me about her!). Once again Galaxia gets impacient and Siren is "replaced."
SAILOR LEAD CROW ~ absolutely rival Siren, complete competor, as was Siren Avery to her Prisma (Kalveras to Petz). Lemme see, when I think Crow I think "I! want the glory!" BUT!!!!! she is greatly saddened by Siren's death. From my information, Crow is killed by Tin Cat in an accident (me thinks this was an "accident").
SAILOR TIN CAT ~ She appears earlier in the series, when Siren was around. Cat is a conving fool. She points out all Siren's failures to Galaxia, leading to Crow's demise ("I'm gonna TELL!") and was then later paired with Crow. These two, let's say, didn't work well with each other. Apperently the "accident" Crow is involved in is when Cat played with her attacks and messes them up, causing, well, Crow-to-fall-into-yet-another-black-hole-attack-thing causing her death. Cat is killed by Galaxia (who saw that coming?) though my source isn't clear on why exactly. (e-mail me!)
(As far as I can tell the rest of the Animates are only in the comic manga version, not anime. If I'm wrong let me know but from here on I'll assume that this is true.)
SAILORS LETHE AND MNEMOSYNE ~ Two animates forced to work for Galaxia (like Neptune and Uranus, except it's not rerally the same cause they had a plan to destroy Galaxia) simply that their home planets wouldn't be destroyed like that of the Old Moon Kingdom.
SAILORS CHI AND PHI ~ The two animates who did some work and actually took the Sailor Star star seeds, causing them to die. (ooooo...spoiler)
SAILOR HEAVY METAL PAPILLION ~ I have FINALLY seen a really good picture of her! Her outfit is based off a butterflies wings (papillion being French for butterfly). It's very cool but her vitals will come later.

Poor Galaxia possessed by Chaos (under the influence of I suppose) terrorized the lives of all the senshi, effecting all in spreading her reign of terror...oh yeah, she's bad. |

Sailor MoonR movie: Promise of a Rose...
This movie is really very beatiful. It's the Sailor Moon Season R saga movie, and it is quite well done.
this movie lends us all insight to the mysterious Darrien/Mamoru life as a child. both paint a slightly diffrent picture but that's okay. One of the key points is that this movie begins to show Mamoru as a person, not a jerk only.
The movie is about when Darrien/Mamoru's past catches up with him. His old friend Fiore promised him flowers for him when he comes back to Earth, as gratitude since Darrien showed him friendship and kindness. However, some 15 some odd years later, Fiore comes back wanting to destroy Usagi/Serena (she wasn't in the picture in the past) because she is trying to poision Mamoru's mind away from him, as he thinks
Fiore is possessed by the evil Kiasianian flower, which preys on energy and weak hearts. This evil flower is quite a hassle: it's plans are to destroy the planet. Will the scouts succeed? Is the planet covered by plants? Does anyone die?
If you have seen the movie, u already know the answers to those questions. But this time I won't give it away. Now that I've seen the Japanese version on top of the Dubbed, I shall do comparsion between the two. They are pretty much exactly the same except a few things.
THINGS TO WATCH FOR IN THE JAPANESE VERSION: the scouts saying their attacfks in English, certian looks Mamoru and Fiore give each other that are editted out of the dub, Ami's comment of "Gee, Mamo seems to attract a lot of guys" (i was ROLLING, it was so funny. and the follow up comment "well, there are relationships _like that_ in my school too"). Also check for the general language (especially Makoto uses),outtakes(there are some great ones, esp. when Fiore comes back to Earth to battle the girls...just watch the cats and pause a lot or play it on slow. they are great. Luna nearly gets smothered by SM and Artemis's ears jump off his head. also, a second later Luna trades places with Artemis and he is no where to be seen), and other acts of gory violence.
THINGS WORSE IN JAPANESE VERSION: my critism is the rushed through the ovie. They are more to the point than the dub, but several scenes could have been done slower, to get the dramatic point across. They actually went a little to fast with the information they get, it was less real.
THINGS TO CHECK OUT IN THE DUB: a bit more dramatic tension, a better ending song, and a few other things. It's good in it's own way. Also, a classic Serena comment not used in the Japanese version "look Darrien!!! It's raining ROSES!!!!" Watch out for the Japanese font that is seen throughout the movie.
THINGS WORSE IN DUB: it was very slow, they had unnessarary parts cut out and put in stupid stuff to cover up the lost time (like listening to Darrien's thoughts in his head). Also, once you see what the dub says compared to the original, You'll hit your head and say "Oh...THAT'S why they acted so strange then." The little gestures that make no sense in the dub are better explained in the original.
When all's done, watch both. They are great. |

SAILOR MOON S movie: Hearts In Ice: An embittered ice queen (literally) named Queen Kayuga is attempting to freeze Earth in another ice age so she can take over. In prehistoric times she was banished from the planet and now she wants revenge. (i only watched the dub, they don't explain that part well.)
Meanwhile, on Earth a love story between two scientists brews about the belief of "Was there a Moon Princess on the Moon?" Our favorite cat Luna takes over as main character for most of the movie as she falls in love for the first time...with the scientist who believes in the moon princess...he's human by the way....you see the problem
So the movie's conflicts: will the planet be taken over by an ice age? will Luna's love life succeed? Isn't it ironic how the plot takes place during the school winter break? If you saw the movie, you already know.
THINGS TO WATCH FOR: the monster of the day: Snodancers (which take a MAJOR beating and keeps ticking) who scream ALL through the movie, Mina saying "my bad," Darrien disguising himself as Santa (too funny), Serena and Rini fooling a Snodancer (it's chasing them and they both freeze, turn around to face it, and point to the left somewhere. The Snodancer turns to see what they are pointing at, they run inside, and the Snodancer is left very confused as to a: where they went and b: what WERE they pointing at?), also the basic screw ups, scene changes, Human Luna, breathing in space, and StarFlakes (Watch the movie and u kno what i'm talking about). Who needs MeowMix? |

Sailor Moon Super S: Black Dream Hole
This movie is also great. The last of the movies, Black Dream Hole takes a Pied Piper Theme. Heard the story then you can follow the movie. An evil enitity-Badiyani- is trying to take control of the planet by using the energy of children's dreams. Her minions? A bunch of flute playing fairies who hyponotise the children (i believe it was like 23 countries and 64 cities who they stole children from)into a dark eternal sleep in black dream crystals that mighty look like coffins. Chibiusa is a key role to this movie and her relationship with Peruru (a good fairy, check my "lesser known character section once it's up) grows.
KEY POINTS TO LOOK FOR: chibi everyone!!!!! Yea! Also, the Bon-Bon babies, the doughnut-that-turns-into-a-metal-ring-with-a-mean-streak, cool fight sequences, flying ships, weird hair, giants, and a great "OOOOO! I BET YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!!!" moment. Highly recommendable, anyone (even if they don't know what Sailor Moon is) can see it and get it if they ever heard of Pied Piper. |
